I’m Vanessa Alfaro – The Empowered Communicator.

I’m really happy and excited to be with you here today because I’m going to talk about how anger reveals your truth.

If you’ve watched my other videos, you know how I care deeply about speaking my truth and my mission and purpose in life are to help others speak their truth.

I also work a lot with anger.

So, remember we are energic beings.  And, emotions are energy.  And, emotions are neutral.  But when something happens, when we’re triggered, then we have a physical response.  It’s in our bodies and that emotional energy could become really tense and tight and constricted.  Often when we have tension, we associate it to a “negative” emotion, which is anger.

Anger is this strong, powerful, emotional energy that many of us don’t know how to be with, how to work through, or how to release it, and that’s the work that I do.

When you’re angry, if you actually allow yourself and invite angry feelings into your body and your experience, what happens is that the angry will eventually pass.  Your body will eventually settle down as long as you find a way to consciously release it and to be with it in a very conscious way.

If you invite anger into your experience, you work with it, and then you release it, what happens is the angry energy dissolves.  And what’s under the angry energy are more vulnerable emotions and feelings such as sadness, pain, hurt, hopelessness.  You might be wondering, “I don’t want to feel those feelings.”

But, in your vulnerability, these feelings are sacred.  They are so important because you begin to really soften and open.  And, from this place of softness and opening, you access your internal wisdom.

You access what it is that you really want in your life.  What is the deepest longing of your heart?  What was it about this situation that triggered you?

When you get clear on what it is that you want, why you were triggered, you’re then able to speak your truth with clarity and grace and wisdom.

This is the power of anger.  It helps you get to your truth.  And, if you allow yourself to be with it and to work through it, then you’re in a place to speak your truth.

I hope that I answered your question, if there was some mystery on the connection between anger and speaking your truth.

Thank you for watching and listening.
