Did anyone teach you how to healthily and consciously express anger?

Did anyone show you how to move angry/rageful energy from your body?

Did anyone tell you that anger is a powerful, necessary, and creative force?

It’s likely that no one neither told you what your angry feelings were about nor showed you how to healthily and consciously express anger.

Anger is a primary emotion to be experienced as a powerful, necessary, and creative force. Anger reveals your desires, alerts you to your needs for profound change, and calls on you to take action!

During this 4-hour zoom workshop, you’ll learn the science behind anger, how to healthily express anger in the moment, exercises to settle down your nervous system, and a step-by-step algorithmic process to experience and work through the full expression of anger.

When working through my algorithm, you finally get to express and release angry feelings so that you can dive deeper into your experience by uncovering the truth of what you need and want.

What people say about my trainings, workshops & intensives…

“Vanessa’s workshop helped me understand why my anger turns to frustration, gave me steps to channel my energy effectively, and changed how I react to triggers. She adeptly highlighted that my angry communication at work was entangled with unconscious expectations that I had of the other person. Since then, I’ve had to reflect on and reframe my workplace conversations, which have led to amazing results. I have more awareness about how I communicate my expectations, and I don’t take things personally. I highly recommend her workshops as a way to start your transformation.” –MT, WOC Executive

“I wasn’t sure what to expect when I signed up, actually, I couldn’t even pin-point what I wanted and needed to get out of it. Working with Vanessa has not only helped me work through my anger, but also connect with my needs and my feelings and express them more clearly. I’m able to recognize now, that a lot of my frustration was with not being able to identify and express my feelings and this intensive weekend has helped me with that, tremendously. At best, I was hoping to come away with some new tools to manage my anger. But I’ve been pleasantly surprised to notice that I’m not as quick to anger in general. The skills I learned have helped me identify EARLY, my physical and emotional signals and work with them and stay in control. Since taking her 2-day intensive, I haven’t thrown a cell phone or punched a hole in the wall. I hope there is an ‘advanced’ class one day, because I will be first on the list to join. Looking forward to doing more great work with Vanessa. If you’re on the fence, take the leap, you will be so glad you did.” –RC, General Manager & Head of Operations

“I have attended numerous workshops, gone on many retreats, and engaged in lots of rituals and ceremonies and when I participated in Vanessa’s workshop, I was extremely impressed with Vanessa’s ability to create a sacred, safe, and supportive container and facilitate deep and powerful work in a very compassionate way. Vanessa is present, attuned, empathetic, genuine, and empowered. She asks amazing questions that help one go deeper and get a better handle on one’s truth. Her workshop is rich with information, tools, and experiential learning. Vanessa incorporates meditation, breathwork, embodied practices, creative expression, ancestral work, psychology- all within the context of the nonviolent communication paradigm. She teaches fundamental skills for how to feel, process, and express anger in a constructive way, skills I wished I learned as a child. I see how, without these skills, I have created a lot of unnecessary suffering in my life and relationships. This workshop is beneficial for any human being who wishes to be healthier and have healthier personal and professional relationships and is also valuable for those working in any field related to personal growth and mental health.” –AR, Psychologist

“Vanessa’s workshop helped me to create more acceptance around the anger I was experiencing so that I could see it as a trusted and important source of information. I walked away from the workshop feeling supported, accepted, and free to express ALL of my emotions in healthy ways. Vanessa creates a safe, very real, and connective environment and she is highly skilled at listening to what’s not being said to help her clients unlock the real source of anger. I have loved working with her!” –JT, Leadership Coach & Organizational Consultant

“Thank you SO much for your skillful, compassionate, experienced, embodied, focused workshop. I really appreciated both the science and the courageously creative process you guided us through in such a short period of time. I am looking forward to studying more with you, even though it’s a scary, powerful, wild business.” –SC, Chief Instructor & Acupuncturist

“I had a very powerful experience in Vanessa’s anger workshop. I had anticipation and anxiety upon deciding to take the class and leading up to it but was also strangely clear that I needed to do this workshop. While taking it I was aware that there were layers upon layers of anger that I could access. Being given permission to acknowledge it, work with it and release it was very cathartic. What has been most surprising is how I have had more access to these layers since doing this workshop and thereby more release. I would strongly suggest this workshop!” –JM, PhD, Licensed Clinical Psychologist

“Vanessa has the great ability to guide others safely and courageously through their own shadows, so they can meet them and befriend them. I really enjoyed the „from Anger to creating Peace“ course and got so much out of it. Before I was not able to express my anger adequately, I would either suppress it or explode with violence. I now feel equipped to express my needs more healthily and timely. Now I see my anger as a powerful guide when something is off and to either work through it (if I project things onto another person) or to take it as the instinctual warning sign that somebody is indeed not safe to be around and act accordingly. Those lines have been blurry in the past but now they are very clear. The work Vanessa does is incredibly important and useful, I wish everybody worked with her. The world would be a more peaceful place.” –SU, Astrologer, Artist & Medium

“I have participated in a lot of workshops on communication and emotions, and Vanessa’s workshop was hands down one of the best, especially for being only 3 hours long. The questions, handouts, and worksheets did an excellent job of connecting me with my feelings and needs about a situation that has been bothering me in my relationship with my dad. Even though my prior experience learning nonviolent communication led me to believe that “I already know this stuff,” I also knew that I was having a hard time practicing it with my dad, and Vanessa’s workshop was a great reminder of the importance of following the steps! Just do the work! Every time! Don’t skip it. Don’t intellectualize it. Don’t say you already know it. Just do it. Feel the feelings. Listen to what they are telling you. These steps serve as a road map to get from anger to clarity, and the first part of the workshop taught me how not following the steps has been affecting my health. Anger is important but holding onto it and not working through it can be toxic. One last thing I want to say is that I was the only cisgender man in the workshop, and that’s a problem. The world needs more men who understand their emotions and know how to take responsibility for their emotional experiences. I can’t even imagine how my life would be different if I had been raised by a man who had a healthy relationship with his anger. So, to the men out there, I want to say, “This is the work. Vanessa teaches it very well.” –NJR, Associate Marriage & Family Therapist

“Vanessa’s workshop should be a mandatory experience for everyone. She explores a topic which is crucial in our private and professional lives and brings decades of her own experience into the content and facilitation. She is a skilled facilitator who approaches the topic with sensitivity and dynamism and creates a brave space to engage with our emotions. The workshop is self-reflective and educational at the same time.” –JH, Conflict Resolution Specialist

“NVC (nonviolent communication) seemed like such bullshit to me until Vanessa’s workshop. What a breath of fresh air Vanessa is! Swear, be animated, get angry. The steps Vanessa presented are concrete and tangible. I found (and find) them useful. In most workshops, participants are presented with theory, do some feel-good exercises, and go home without new tools. I finally got permission to be myself. Now I get to learn how to also be constructive because it’s not okay to rip into others and walk away, leaving bleeding bodies all over the floor. The steps for processing anger will help me process my feelings on my own – what is mine, what belongs to the other person, and what is ours. Having clarity and working on what’s mine will allow me to develop healthy strategies for dealing with what’s ours.” –LLB, Retired
