When you get angry over something that seems “silly,” do you try to rationalize it away because you shouldn’t make a big deal out of it?

When someone says or does something that doesn’t sit well with you, do you spend hours replaying what happened?

When someone pisses you off, do you silently seethe and keep your distance, hoping that, eventually, your angry feelings will disappear?

When you’re mad, do you work hard managing and controlling yourself because you only know how to express anger by yelling or being passive-aggressive?

As women, we’ve been conditioned to automatically suppress anger.

We learned that it’s a bad, violent emotion delegated to men because, at its worst, anger can lead to massive destruction and death.

So, imagine, if you don’t express this violent, destructive emotion, what happens to all of that energy?

It gets trapped in your body and mind, wreaking havoc while leaving you depleted, doubting your experience, questioning your feelings, and creating mental anguish.

What many of us don’t know is that anger is one of the most powerfully potent emotions that is your birthright to feel.

Anger is a portal towards healing.

Anger is a source for personal empowerment.

Anger is the gateway to true unconditional self-love.

It’s an emotional current that tells you something needs to change.

Yet even though you know what you’re mad about, it could be that you don’t know what needs to change or how to change it.

But there is a path and a way to radically change how you express anger so you can release and relieve this primitive, protective force.

When you give yourself permission to express anger healthily and consciously, your body softens, your heart opens, and you get clear on what needs to change and how to change it.

Because, if you let it, anger will lead you through the dark and guide you into the light.

This immersive isn’t anger management.

This immersive is devotional healing for your heart, mind, body, and soul.

This immersive is for personal empowerment.

It’s a sacred community of women choosing to release anger and all the fear, shame, or guilt that might be entangled with it.

If you’re ready to radically change how you express or suppress anger…

If you’re ready to relieve and release resentment, anger, and rage without destruction, hurting yourself or those around you…

If you’re ready to embrace this wild, powerful, useful, wise energy to understand what needs to change…

Then join a community of women and me as we revolutionize how we relate to and express anger.

This is a healing space for women only, whether you’re single, married, or in a relationship.

It’s a community of women supporting women as you all release, relieve, and rest your anger with me.

Reviews…

“Vanessa’s work in anger to me is revolutionary. I’ve had an eight-year, five-day-a week psychoanalysis, and never got to this key element. Long story. This work – this final frontier – is to me the missing link in how to get into and understand and free myself up of the one element that has stayed buried and yet is completely common to every single difficulty I have. On one hand, The Anger Algorithm is the most practical tool to have to handle that one element in life that is constantly pushed away, feared, and the brewing pot for so much inner turmoil. In doing this work, the anger itself becomes a klieg light to illuminate what is REALLY going on! I wish I could say more, but honestly, I wish I had learned this in my early teens. It’s breathtaking to me that it’s not standard learning for everyone. I am so grateful.” ~~MM, Fiduciary Accountings

“Vanessa Alfaro is one of the most compassionate, focused, and fiercely honest coaches I have known. She has been my guide to finding my spirit-being epicenter. Her approach helped me to understand that my experiences of anger are signals, pointers, and portals that invariably lead to deep insights into patterns of belief and behavior. She helped me to recognize that the complex soup of the subconscious mind, formed primarily as a child, shapes nearly all of our adult behavior. The beauty is that that soup can be clarified into a nutritious broth of simple presence, power, and uncluttered honesty. This is the most powerful work I have done this life.” ~~MN, Association VP

“I have participated in a lot of workshops on communication and emotions, and Vanessa’s workshop was hands down one of the best, especially for being only 3 hours long. The questions, handouts, and worksheets did an excellent job of connecting me with my feelings and needs about a situation that has been bothering me in my relationship with my dad. Even though my prior experience learning nonviolent communication led me to believe that ‘I already know this stuff,’ I also knew that I was having a hard time practicing it with my dad, and Vanessa’s workshop was a great reminder of the importance of following The Anger Algorithm! Just do the work! Every time! Don’t skip it. Don’t intellectualize it. Don’t say you already know it. Just do it. Feel the feelings. Listen to what they are telling you. The Anger Algorithm serves as a road map to get from anger to clarity, and the first part of the workshop taught me how not following the steps has been affecting my health. Anger is important but holding onto it and not working through it can be toxic. One last thing I want to say is that I was the only cisgender man in the workshop, and that’s a problem. The world needs more men who understand their emotions and know how to take responsibility for their emotional experiences. I can’t even imagine how my life would be different if I had been raised by a man who had a healthy relationship with his anger. So, to the men out there, I want to say, ‘This is the work. Vanessa teaches it very well.’” ~~NJR, Marriage Family Therapist

“Completing Vanessa’s program and working with her was a life-changing experience for me. After my first phone call with her it was clear she had a road map prepared for me to get to where I wanted. I signed up knowing it was time for me to make a real change. I was hurting and I was angry. So much anger and hurt built up throughout the years and now my body was crying out to release them. I was stuck holding onto the belief that hearing an apology was the only way I would be able to heal and forgive. Then I had an ah-ah moment after reading an article Vanessa wrote on apologies and why some people find it very difficult to apologize. This was when everything in my mind, heart, and body shifted. All the work with Vanessa weeks prior prepared me for this. My grip on needing an apology loosened. As I continued the program and kept in mind some of the challenges the other person might have in relation to apologies, I realized by meeting my own needs and not relying on an apology from the other person, is my path to healing. I continue to use Vanessa’s Algorithm as a tool to help me decipher my unmet needs and work through difficult emotions. Vanessa’s program is truly a lifesaver.” ~~CN, CFO

“Vanessa’s workshop helped me understand why my anger turns to frustration, gave me steps using The Anger Algorithm to channel my energy effectively, and changed how I react to triggers. She adeptly highlighted that my angry communication at work was entangled with unconscious expectations that I had of the other person. Since then, I’ve had to reflect on and reframe my workplace conversations, which have led to amazing results. I have more awareness about how I communicate my expectations, and I don’t take things personally. I highly recommend her workshops as a way to start your transformation.” ~~MT, WOC Executive

“Using our personal relationship to anger, Vanessa creates a safe space to be vulnerable and reframe our relationship with this powerful and mostly misunderstood emotion, while opening us up to what it means to be in touch with all our feelings and life affirming needs. What was especially helpful was the way she modeled a clear path using The Anger Algorithm to face and transform our difficult emotional life experiences. My biggest ah ha was seeing that while I have made progress along the path, it’s from the perspective of my old patterns…that are still tugging.”~~JF, LLB

“I wasn’t sure what to expect when I signed up, actually, I couldn’t even pin-point what I wanted and needed to get out of it. Working with Vanessa has not only helped me work through my anger, but also connect with my needs and my feelings and express them more clearly. I’m able to recognize now, that a lot of my frustration was with not being able to identify and express my feelings and this intensive weekend has helped me with that, tremendously. At best, I was hoping to come away with some new tools to manage my anger. But I’ve been pleasantly surprised to notice that I’m not as quick to anger in general. The skills I learned have helped me identify EARLY, my physical and emotional signals and work with them and stay in control. Since taking her 2-day intensive, I haven’t thrown a cell phone or punched a hole in the wall. I hope there is an ‘advanced’ class one day, because I will be first on the list to join. Looking forward to doing more great work with Vanessa. If you’re on the fence, take the leap, you will be so glad you did.” ~~RC, General Manager & Head of Operations

“I have attended numerous workshops, gone on many retreats, and engaged in lots of rituals and ceremonies and when I participated in Vanessa’s workshop, I was extremely impressed with Vanessa’s ability to create a sacred, safe, and supportive container and facilitate deep and powerful work in a very compassionate way. Vanessa is present, attuned, empathetic, genuine, and empowered. She asks amazing questions that help one go deeper and get a better handle on one’s truth. Her workshop is rich with information, tools, and experiential learning. Vanessa incorporates meditation, breathwork, embodied practices, creative expression, ancestral work, psychology- all within the context of the Nonviolent Communication paradigm. She teaches fundamental skills for how to feel, process, and express anger in a constructive way using The Anger Algorithm. These are skills I wished I learned as a child. I see how, without these skills, I have created a lot of unnecessary suffering in my life and relationships. This workshop is beneficial for any human being who wishes to be healthier and have healthier personal and professional relationships and is also valuable for those working in any field related to personal growth and mental health.” ~~AR, Psychologist

“Vanessa’s workshop helped me to create more acceptance around the anger I was experiencing so that I could see it as a trusted and important source of information. I walked away from the workshop feeling supported, accepted, and free to express ALL of my emotions in healthy ways using The Anger Algorithm. Vanessa creates a safe, very real, and connective environment and she is highly skilled at listening to what’s not being said to help her clients unlock the real source of anger. I have loved working with her!” ~~JT, Leadership Coach & Organizational Consultant

“Thank you SO much for your skillful, compassionate, experienced, embodied, focused workshop. I really appreciated both the science and the courageously creative process, The Anger Algorithm, you guided us through in such a short period of time. I am looking forward to studying more with you, even though it’s a scary, powerful, wild business.” ~~SC, Chief Instructor & Acupuncturist

“I had a very powerful experience in Vanessa’s anger workshop. I had anticipation and anxiety upon deciding to take the class and leading up to it but was also strangely clear that I needed to do this workshop. While taking it I was aware that there were layers upon layers of anger that I could access. Being given permission to acknowledge it, work with it using The Anger Algorithm and release it was very cathartic. What has been most surprising is how I have had more access to these layers since doing this workshop and thereby more release. I would strongly suggest this workshop!” ~~JM, PhD, Licensed Clinical Psychologist

“Vanessa has the great ability to guide others safely and courageously through their own shadows, so they can meet them and befriend them. I really enjoyed the “From Anger to Creating Peace” course and got so much out of it. Before I was not able to express my anger adequately, I would either suppress it or explode with violence. With The Anger Algorithm, I now feel equipped to express my needs more healthily and timely. Now I see my anger as a powerful guide when something is off and to either work through it (if I project things onto another person) or to take it as the instinctual warning sign that somebody is indeed not safe to be around and act accordingly. Those lines have been blurry in the past but now they are very clear. The work Vanessa does is incredibly important and useful, I wish everybody worked with her. The world would be a more peaceful place.” ~~SU, Astrologer, Artist & Medium

“NVC (nonviolent communication) seemed like such bullshit to me until Vanessa’s workshop. What a breath of fresh air Vanessa is! Swear, be animated, get angry. The algorithm Vanessa presented is concrete and tangible. I found (and find) them useful. In most workshops, participants are presented with theory, do some feel-good exercises, and go home without new tools. I finally got permission to be myself. Now I get to learn how to also be constructive because it’s not okay to rip into others and walk away, leaving bleeding bodies all over the floor. The steps for processing anger will help me process my feelings on my own – what is mine, what belongs to the other person, and what is ours. Having clarity and working on what’s mine will allow me to develop healthy strategies for dealing with what’s ours.” ~~LLB, Retired
